Students may complete the program across two semesters of coursework on the Athens campus, or four semesters of entirely online coursework.
The courses focus on the theoretical and methodological traditions of law and society studies; law and society perspectives across the disciplines; and training in legal research and writing.
9-Day Abroad Course in Northern Ireland
- Open to on-campus and online students!
The program also offers a nine-day study abroad program over spring break focusing on human rights, law and justice in post-conflict Northern Ireland. This study abroad experience includes interactions with former combatants, human rights lawyers, ex-political prisoners, victims associations, and restorative justice practitioners, as well as visits to museums, former prisons, and non-governmental organizations.
