A&S Seminar Fund

Objectives of the Fund

The objective of the College of Arts & Sciences Seminar Fund is to support departmental seminar and colloquium with funding to bring in external speakers. All A&S departments as well as WGSS, CLJC and MCB are provided funds. The college encourages interdisciplinary events that are of interest to faculty from multiple departments and programs. Since these funds are limited, departments are encouraged to use other internal and external funding sources.

Process and Guidance

Each area is provided funding for the fiscal year. Contact your finance unit staff member. 
Reimbursable expenses include transportation, lodging, meals for the speaker, and honoraria (should be modest).
Any unused funds will not carry forward to the next fiscal year.
