Dr. Matthew Shaftel, Dean of the College of Fine Arts

Dear future students, alumni, and friends,

What a warm welcome I’ve enjoyed at OHIO since joining the College of Fine Arts in 2017! Together, with Faculty, Alumni, and our new student advisory board, we have a new 31-initiative vision to build on the tremendous legacy of the College of Fine Arts. This plan includes 11 new undergraduate and graduate degrees across all divisions, and a rekindling of our commitment to the transformation of our students as they transform the community throughout the region.
