Assistant Professor of Instruction, Costume Technology

Sarah Beth is a professional costume designer and technician. She loves costumes and makeup and has created and designed them for many mediums including ballet, opera, theatre, musical theater, dance, film, music videos, and more. She has worked as the resident costume designer for two theatres; GREAT Theatre in Minnesota and Midland Community Theatre in Texas. She worked as a costume crafts supervisor for Brigham Young University for four years, creating and altering costume crafts for nine productions per season, including the US premiere of The Count of Monte Cristo musical. She loved working as a costume crafts artisan at Utah Festival Opera for two seasons and Pennsylvania Shakespeare festival for one season. She enjoyed her time at Oklahoma State University where she taught the costume technology courses and worked as the costume shop manager.

Sarah Beth has also worked as a costumer for the Young Ambassadors and toured with them domestically and internationally to South Africa and Zimbabwe. She also spent a summer working on the cultural dance clothing for The Living Legends. She knows lots of cool things and wants to share them with you, so come take her classes!
