Giving Opportunities

The Tun Abdul Razak Chair envisions to enhance Malaysia’s national prominence in the United States; increase its visibility to key American groups in academia, think tanks, government, the business community and the media; and better serve the goal of building stronger ties and better bridges of knowledge and understanding between Malaysia and the United States.

Gifts from individual, institutional, and corporate partners will enable the Tun Abdul Razak Chair Program at Ohio University to deliver on its promise of developing transformational leaders and essential public/private sectors partnerships. There are two ways to consider to support.

The Tun Abdul Razak Chair Endowment

A major gift commitment (US $50,000 or more) will provide essential resources to ensure the future enhancement of the Tun Abdul Razak Chair at Ohio University. Funds made available from carefully-managed endowment resources will support programs and activities at the discretion of the Chair-holder and governing board. Ongoing endowment support will help to expand the role of the Tun Abdul Razak Chair and optimize the Chair-holder’s ability to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge about Malaysia and further the understanding of and appreciation for Malaysia amongst select American constituencies and relevant institutions. In addition, with increased financial support, the Tun Abdul Razak Chair Program will provide a unique opportunity for individuals and U.S and Malaysian corporations to express their own interest in and appreciation for U.S - Malaysia relations – and to be recognized by the Malaysian government, business community and society for this support.
