The E.W. Scripps School of Journalism hosts symposia, workshops and continuing education programs designed to amplify and promote the work of journalists throughout their careers.
The High School Journalism Workshop
This annual program for aspiring journalists is one of the oldest high school journalism workshops in the country. Visiting professional speakers, hands-on skill development and college mentors contribute to the workshop's longstanding reputation. The 2022 workshop will be held on site, July 6-9, 2022.
The Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism
Offering fellowships, workshops, hands-on learning labs, presentations at regional and national journalism conferences, and other training to enhance reporting and storytelling.
The Schuneman Symposium
Hosted jointly by E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and the School of Visual Communication, this annual symposium brings acclaimed journalists to OHIO's campus to help journalism students become more aware of the power of photography and photojournalism students, the power of the written word.
