Why do we enforce campus parking?

Consistent enforcement of campus parking policies and regulations helps contribute to an equitable system for all members of the University community.

How do I pay my citation?

You can pay your citation in several ways:

  • In person at our office located at 100 Factory Street, Athens, OH 45701. We accept cash, credit/debit card, check*, and money order as forms of payment. Checks should be made out to Ohio University and reference the citation number in the memo line. Coin payments are accepted however the following coin amounts must be rolled to be accepted:
    • Pennies of any amount $.50 or more, nickels of any amount $2.00 or more, dimes any amount $5.00 or more, and quarters any amount $10.00 or more. 
  • Over the phone at 740.593.1917. We accept credit and debit card as form of payment.
  • By mail at 100 Factory Street, Athens, OH 45701. Check or money order is accepted, please do not send cash in the mail. Checks* should be made out to Ohio University and reference the citation number in the memo line.
  • Online through your Parking Account
  • *We only accept checks drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. funds.

How do I appeal my citation?

The appeal process provides an opportunity to customers to contest a parking violation believed to have been issued in error. In order to be eligible for appeal you must pay your citation and file the appeal within 10 days of receiving the citation.
