3rd Annual Komen Athens Race for the Cure 5k walk/run

Sunday, October 15th marked the 3rd annual Komen Athens Race for the Cure 5k walk/run, and the second year that the WellWorks team -"GoDiva or Go Home"- stepped out in style to support breast cancer awareness.

Last year this time, one of our own employees was battling breast cancer. She was stronger than any of us could have imagined during her treatment and recovery, and is back to leading a full, healthy life - and walking in the Athens Komen 5K herself! With the gracious support of teammates and donors, GoDiva or Go Home! raised $460 and proved we are "More than Pink". Our friend and coworker, and ALL other women and their families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, are why we walk.
