OHIO Up Close is a special visit event held in the spring semester exclusively for admitted first-year students! At OHIO Up Close, you will have the opportunity to explore OHIO's Athens campus, connect with resources from across the University and begin to find your Bobcat community.

Optional Early Bird Walking Tour: Bobcat Basics
8:30 a.m.
Start the morning with an abbreviated walking tour of life on campus, including a look at historic College Green.
Welcome Session
9:30 a.m.
Hear from current students about the OHIO experience and learn important information about your next steps to becoming a Bobcat.
Academic Information Session
11 a.m.
Meet with faculty and staff from your academic college.
Lunch
12 p.m.
Explore on-campus dining options or check out a local restaurant Uptown.
Afternoon Sessions
Until 4 p.m.
Spend your afternoon getting to know our campus and learning important information about your next steps. Choose from the afternoon sessions to make your OHIO Up Close experience exactly what you want.

Campus Walking Tours | Residence Hall Viewing | Riding Town and Gown Tours |
| Explore our beautiful and historic campus during a 60-minute walking tour led by a student tour guide | Visit a residence hall room and meet representatives from Housing and Residence Life | See the athletic fields, Uptown Athens and other off-campus areas from the comfort of a shuttle. |
Campus Resource Fair | Transferring Your Credits Session | Activation Station |
| Explore the opportunities and services available to you at OHIO and meet helpful representatives. | Learn how your credit will transfer to OHIO, including AP, IB, College Credit Plus and dual enrollment. | Get help confirming your intent to enroll and getting ready to sign up for Bobcat Student Orientation (BSO)! |
