Welcome

Welcome to the Oregon - Ohio University Alumni Network! The seed for the Network sprouted in early 2009, and by February 2010, we became official. By the end of our first year in existence, our group had become so active that we were awarded the Alumni Association Chapter of the Year Award. We also won the Alumni Association Community Service Award in 2011 and 2015.

The Network continues to thrive. We exist to engage and build community with the more than 700 alumni in the Oregon region to serve four distinct goals:

Networking - We're better professionals when we can support and learn from each other.
Community Service - We build stronger communities when we join together.
Education - We become better citizens through educating ourselves and our families
Social - We build friendships, support Bobcat sports teams and programs, and explore the region together.

Each event we organize will fall into one or more of the above categories. To support the diversity of interests and life stages of our alumni, we plan multiple events in each category each year. Several events are Network staples, such as the summer Bobcat Barbecue, Friends of Trees planting day, and Bobcat sports watch parties. Other popular events have included Portland Timbers and Portland Pickles outings, wine tastings, BrewCycle tours, and Zoo Happy Hours. Join the email list or our Facebook page to keep updated.
