History
Built in 1967, the four-story Georgian residence hall originally housed 220 female students.
Clinton N. MacKinnon
MacKinnon Hall was named in honor of Clinton N. MacKinnon. A native of Nova Scotia, he lived his early years in New England. He was educated at Clark University and Yale University. He was a professor of English at Ohio University for thirty-seven years and founded Torch and Cresset organizations for recognitions of outstanding men and women.
