Current Use

Morton Hall houses the departments of Mathematics, Social Work, the Department of Geography's Long Term Social and Ecological Research Lab and Remote Sensing/Ohio View. It contains classrooms, lecture halls, a small auditorium, and offices.

 

History

Morton Hall was completed in 1970, with an addition built in 1972.

Robert Lee Morton

Dr. Morton was educated at Ohio University, a member of the class of 1913. He was a faculty member at Ohio University for 42 years. He was the author of nine books and coauthored 171 textbooks on junior high and elementary mathematics.
