Kristin Hepworth is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Accounting, with a diverse background across industries including technology, consumer-packaged goods, healthcare, and education. In her corporate roles, she provided financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive decision-making and manage key investments. Kristin's experience spans working with both large corporations and early-stage startups, giving her a well-rounded perspective on financial management and business strategy.

Beyond teaching, Kristin works with emerging companies and entrepreneurs to improve their accounting processes and make informed, data-driven decisions. She is a licensed CPA in Ohio, serves on an advisory board for a regional food manufacturer, and is an active board member of a local nonprofit.

Kristin is deeply committed to enhancing the student experience, helping students discover their passions and achieve their goals. Outside of work, she is involved in the Athens community, where she enjoys attending local events, staying active, and seeking new adventures with her family.
