Business Accelerated Graduate Pathways

The College of Business offers Accelerated Graduate Pathways (AGP), through which students can combine both undergraduate and graduate degree programs to earn their degree more quickly.

The College of Business also offers Early Assurance Programs (EAP). Through these programs, students receive a guaranteed spot in a prominent graduate program early in an undergraduate career or as part of their admission from high school. 

AGP Eligible Programs

    Human Resources


    Exceptionally qualified and prepared students who are seeking to expand their human resources knowledge and skills beyond the undergraduate coursework required for completion of the Human Resource Management Certificate will be afforded an opportunity through the AGP to complete the graduate version of the Human Resources certificate with their bachelor’s degree.

    Strategic Leadership


    Undergraduates across the university who seek to expand their management knowledge and leadership skills beyond the undergraduate coursework required for completion of the Strategic Leadership Certificate, can take advantage of the AGP. This program allows students to complete the graduate version of the Management and Leadership Certificate alongside their bachelor’s degree.

    Sales


    Exceptionally qualified and prepared students who are seeking to expand their sales knowledge and leadership skills beyond the undergraduate coursework required for completion of the undergraduate sales certificate may apply to complete the Strategic Selling and Sales Leadership graduate certificate with their bachelor’s degree.
     

AGP Eligibility Criteria

Admissions requirements vary between AGP programs, but all students are eligible to apply when they have earned or are in the process of completing 75 credit hours.

Acceptance into AGPs is resticted to students who are academically prepared and aligned with the goals of this unique program.

Human Resources AGP

  • Students will be eligible to apply when they have earned or are in-process of completing 75 credit hours
  • Students will be eligible to enroll in courses when they have earned or are in-process of completing 90 credit hours.
  • Application is limited to CTHRMU students because they have already demonstrated a commitment to human resources careers by advancing through a rigorous application and interview process which seeks to identify those best positioned for professional success.
  • Along with an application, resume, and interview, acceptance in the AGP will thus be restricted to only those exceptional students who are academically prepared and in sync with the goals of this unique AGP.

Management & Leadership AGP

  • Students are eligible to apply when they have earned or are in the process of completing 75 credit hours and can enroll in courses upon completing 90 credit hours.
  • Applicants are expected to have either a 3.0 overall GPA or a 3.0 GPA in the most recent 30 credit hours.
  • Other prerequisite criteria include an application, resume, and interview to identify students whose career goals closely match the learning outcomes of the graduate certificate program. 

Strategic Selling & Sales Leadership AGP

  • Students will be eligible to apply when they have earned or are in-process of completing 75 credit hours
  • Students will be eligible to enroll in courses when they have earned or are in-process of completing 90 credit hours.
  • Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher accumulative GPA and a 3.5 or higher GPA in the most recent 30 credit hours. 
  • Applicants must also have a B+ or better letter grade in MKT 2900 - Special Topics in Marketing, MKT 3580 - Foundations of Professional Sales, and one of the following: MKT 4580 - Sales Management, MKT 4680 - Consultative Sales , or MKT 4780 - Sales Strategy & Technology. 
  • Applicants must be accepted into the undergraduate sales certificate program, complete an application, and submit a current resume. 
  • Applicants will also need to complete an interview process.
