Online MBA Admission Requirements

Online MBA $10,000 Scholarship

Apply by August 12, 2024, to receive up to a $10,000 Scholarship* upon enrollment in the online MBA program.

Degree and Minimum GPA
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
TranscriptsOfficial transcripts from all institutions attended
Official GRE/GMAT ScoreNo GMAT or GRE required
Additional Requirements
  • Two or more years of professional experience
  • Current resume
  • Two letters of recommendation from professional or academic references. At least one letter from a supervisor is strongly recommended
  • A personal statement (2 - 4 pages) discussing your career goals, how the master’s degree will help you achieve those goals, areas or competencies that you expect the program will help you strengthen and what you plan to contribute to the learning community

International Students

Generally, students that reside outside of the United States are not eligible to enroll in an OHIO Online program. Additionally, Ohio University is unable to provide immigration support to international students regardless of where they reside. If you would like to discuss your specific situation in order to determine eligibility, please reach out to an OHIO Online enrollment counselor before applying.

Transfer Credit

* Students must enroll in Ohio University’s online MBA program (Professional MBA or 1 Year MBA are excluded), be accepted by the University, and first start classes on August 26, 2024 to be eligible for this scholarship. Students receiving full tuition, education benefits or other incentive tuition scholarship offers from the University are not eligible for this scholarship. For eligible students, the scholarship will then be prorated and credited towards tuition on a course-by-course basis throughout the full duration of the program in an amount not to cumulatively exceed $10,000. Please note that the scholarship offer is for tuition only and is not refundable to you. Additional restrictions may apply, and the program is subject to change.
