Biography

Ann Stott is an Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy at Ohio University.  Ann received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Texas State University, her Master Accountancy from Washington State University and her Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She is also a licensed CPA in Ohio.  Ann’s research and teaching interests are primarily in taxation and professional ethics.

Ann has an extensive amount of professional experience in public accounting at both the Big-4 and local firm levels in addition to spending time earlier in her career as a corporate controller for a real-estate holding company.  Additionally, Ann has also been very involved with several non-profit and service organizations serving in various leadership positions throughout her professional career.
