Certificate Requirements
Full Requirements and Courses in the Official Academic Catalog
The Southeast Asian certificate program requires a minimum of 26 hours and maintaining a 2.5 or higher GPA in certificate courses.
Courses and Languages
- Take the core course INST 1114 - Introduction to Southeast Asia.
- Complete two years (four semesters) of a Southeast Asian language. OHIO offers language courses in Hindi, Indonesian, Malaysian, and Thai.
- Explore electives in fields such as history, geography, and communications.
