Program Overview

Students who are interested in plants but are majoring in another subject may want to consider a minor in Environmental and Plant Biology. The minor in Environmental and Plant Biology is designed for students interested in the plant sciences and those who may find the information obtained useful for their careers or private lives.

The flexibility in this program allows it to supplement a major in another discipline such as economics, education, business administration, computer science, anthropology, sociology, geography, geological sciences, or biological sciences.

Careers & Graduate School

This minor could enhance several majors and assist students with careers in small businesses in horticulture, floriculture or agriculture, recreation, lands management, landscape architecture, engineering to name a few or could satisfy personal goals in gardening.
