William Modzelewski joined the Ohio University - Chillicothe campus as the Director of Information & Technology Services in January of 2013. He has a broad technical background in higher education that includes the large scale management & service of computing resources; faculty & instructional support; database management, and interactive media production & programming.

Prior to joining OUC, he worked for 22 years at Hocking College in a variety of administrative and technical positions. He served most recently as the Director of Information Technology Operations. Among his previous positions at the college were Help Desk Supervisor and Academic Computing Coordinator for the Office of Information Technology; Technician and Graphic Designer for the School of Natural Resources; Educational Technologist and Technician for Learning Resources Center, and Interactive Programmer & Videographer for the School of Nursing.

Prior to Hocking College, he served as the Assistant Library Director, and Director of Learning Resources at Amarillo College in Texas.

Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in media arts from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa., and his master’s degree in educational technology from Kent State University.

He is happily married, and has been blessed with four wonderful children, two daughters and two sons.
