Community Partners
As it has on other Ohio University campuses, the College of Health Sciences and Professions is forging partnerships to provide clinical experience for students and continuing its tradition of community outreach.
Clinical Experiences
In alignment with Ohio University's mission, students enrolled in the OHIO Physician Assistant program will complete a portion of their clinical training in medically underserved areas. OHIO PA students will experience rotations in large medical centers, small urban/rural clinics and specialty clinics at various locations both in and out of state. Rotations are identified, contacted, evaluated and assigned by the OHIO PA program. Students are not required to provide or solicit clinical sites or preceptors.
