Meeting CACREP accreditation standards, the online program requires a 100-hour practicum, including a minimum of 40 hours of direct interaction with students, and a 600-hour internship distributed across two semesters. This dynamic blend of classroom learning and real-world engagement empowers you to translate theory into practice, preparing you comprehensively for the multifaceted responsibilities of a licensed school counselor. Students attending the program will work with the Department to identify appropriate field placement settings in their geographic area.
