Graduation Requirements
Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours as follows:
Required Courses
Complete the following courses for a total of 24 credit hours:
- COED 6100 - Coaching Workshop I
- COED 6140 - Psychology of Coaching
- COED 6150 - Injury Prevention & Risk Management
- COED 6170 - Ethics and Diversity in Athletic Coaching
- COED 6210 - Coaching Soccer: The Beautiful Game
- COED 6220 - Concepts of Soccer Player Development
- COED 6270 - Advanced Soccer Player Development
- COED 6280 - Leadership and Team Dynamics in Soccer
- COED 6300 - Training and Conditioning for Soccer Coaches
- COED 6330 - Analysis of Sport Performance for Coaches
Residencies
Students must successfully complete one coaching residency in conjunction with COED 6100 - Coaching Workshop I. The residency focuses on preparing students for online courses alongside developing relationships with peers, faculty and staff officiated with the degree.
Culminating Experience
Students must successfully complete a coaching portfolio to fulfill the capstone requirement for the online master’s in soccer coaching education degree.
