Daniel Riordan
Hometown: Pickerington, Ohio
Expected Graduation: Spring 2018
Daniel instantly fell in love with the green, vibrant campus of Ohio University on his first visit and has enjoyed Athens ever since. A central Ohio native, Daniel values the true feeling of community that Ohio University offers as a campus in the hills and forests of Appalachia. He says he can attribute many of his life’s best memories to his four years in Athens.
Apart from his involvement with the Engineering Ambassadors, Daniel works with chemistry students as a Peer Led Team Learning leader and has led one of Ohio University’s award-winning teams competing in New Mexico State University’s WERC Environmental Design Contest. Daniel has had the opportunity to intern/co-op at Varo Engineers, Honda of America Manufacturing, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Battelle Memorial Institute.
When he’s not at the Charles J. Ping Student Recreation Center or on a round-trip run from campus to Radar Hill, Daniel enjoys rock climbing and taking his bike out on the Hocking Adena Bikeway.
