Hometown: Dublin, Ohio

After exploring a few different universities in Ohio and Indiana, Josh Igwe, a central Ohio native, decided that Ohio University and the Russ College was the best fit for him. He has since experienced a life-changing three years through the welcoming and warm environment Athens provides.

When not serving as an Engineering Ambassador, Josh is involved with different student organizations. He serves as a student leader with CRU, where he helps lead a bible study, and he is also the treasurer of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Josh worked his junior year as a resident assistant and also enjoys being a part of the National Society of Black Engineers.

For fun, Josh loves watching and playing sports – especially football and basketball. He’s also an avid reader and enjoys learning about lots of different subjects in his free time.
