Launch a Business

The Center for Entrepreneurship serves as the coordinating hub for a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem taking root and blooming in southeast Ohio. The center’s role is to facilitate, nurture, and support partnerships involving students, faculty, researchers, entrepreneurs, emerging and established business enterprises and the venture capital community. Our partnerships promote a culture of entrepreneurship throughout the University and the region and help develop a competitive regional talent pool for innovation-based business.

Bobcat Seed Fund

The Bobcat Seed Fund is a limited pool of money available within the Center for Entrepreneurship for grants to students or student teams who have identified a business opportunity or, preferably, have started a business already.

Innovation Center

The Innovation Center provides valuable business incubation resources to fuel the economy in Athens, Ohio and surrounding regions.

TechGROWTH Ohio

The mission of TechGROWTH Ohio is to significantly increase revenue growth and capital investments in technology-based businesses within the 19-county region of southeast Ohio.
