Evan Comella
Evan is a third generation Ohio University student, following in both his grandmother’s and mother’s footsteps. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. From a young age, he has been passionate about and fascinated by the world of art and design. With many family members living in and around New York City, Evan was exposed to a large variety and styles of design and architecture at a young age. It is for this reason that he has chosen to pursue a path in the exciting world of design.
Evan was fortunate enough to spend the summer working for TPG architecture in New York City. It was during this extended stay in the city where Evan noticed how many individuals are truly affected by homelessness. Having many family members and friends that have served and are currently serving in the armed forces, Evan was specifically drawn to that group of homeless individuals. His thesis project was born from the need to help this affected group and provide all veterans with a safe roof over their heads.
Evan is currently working as a Design Assistant at Copper Leaf Interiors while he finishes his last year in the Interior Architecture program. He is eagerly waiting to fully enter the working world of design and architecture after graduation and is looking for an opportunity in the Cleveland area.
