Kylie Loeffler
Kylie Loeffler is from Columbus, Ohio, where she grew up assisting her parents in projects around the house, which led to her passion in Interior Architecture and Design. She has dedicated the last 4 years studying Interior Architecture at Ohio University, where she has been able to further develop her skills in the design industry.
For her senior thesis project, Kylie is focused on creating a heart center for children and adults with Congenital Heart Defects and Disease. Having first-hand experience with being hospitalized long term due to a Congenital Heart defect, Kylie was inspired to create a heart center which could provide patients and their families the comfort and support they need during their recovery. The intention of this project was to equally consider the accommodations needed for patient families, and how to improve their experience while staying with their patient long term. This was accomplished by adding parent bedrooms and private bathrooms attached to the patient rooms, to increase privacy and accommodate patient family needs.
After graduation, Kylie plans to move back to Columbus, where she will begin her career in Interior Architecture.
