My name is Claire McGuinness, I am from Cleveland, Ohio and currently studying interior architecture at Ohio University. I am passionate about creating spaces that enhance the user experience through thoughtful and sustainable design. With a strong background on spatial planning, materials and sustainable design, I implement these strategies into every one of my projects to give users the best overall experience. Driven by a commitment to environmental design and socially practical spaces, I hope to achieve an improvement of mental health by design. 

When not working or completing assignments, I find myself diving deeper into hobbies that have shaped me to be the person I am today. These hobbies include hiking, painting and redecorating. My passion for decor and art have really pushed me into the world of interior design. I grew up invested in interior design shows that allowed me to dig deeper into a possible career utilizing the eye for design that I have. With my love of the outdoors and nature, I find it’s vital to create an impact with a career in interiors. The strive for eco-friendly and sustainable design is something I look forward to creating through my work.
