Myah Husted
My name is Myah Husted, and I am from Amesville, Ohio. I am graduating with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture with business and studio art minors, as well as a project management certificate. I have always had a passion for design for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a loving household that always encouraged my creativity, and that is why I chose a major that continually allows me to be creative with my studies. This major was the perfect choice for me, it has helped me grow in so many ways and has given me the opportunity to meet my best friends! I am planning to move out West after college to pursue residential design, and hopefully, one day open my own business.
The issue I have chosen to address with my thesis project is the need for more sober living homes. Many do not know what they are or know their importance is, and I feel that more light needs to be shed on this issue. I have known individuals personally who have not had the opportunity to have a stable facility like this to mitigate relapse and continue their recovery journey, so I decided to design one for this project and further my knowledge on the subject.
