Natalie Baldacchino
Natalie Baldacchino is from San Diego, California. She has always had a passion for art and design, beginning with expressing her creativity through fine arts. Her discovery of interior architecture was accompanied by passion which has driven her through five years of studying design.
Natalie’s senior thesis focuses on showcasing what should be the future of children’s rehabilitation centers. Her passion for the subject stems from wanting to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with having their child in rehab. The intention of the project is to showcase how design has the ability to assist in the healing of children and provide comfort for their families. Providing access to long-term housing will ease the stresses of travel costs and allow families to be more present for their sick children. The inclusion of recreational spaces will bring joy to those who need it most. The goal of the rehab center is to change the future of children’s healthcare entirely.
After graduating from Ohio University, Natalie plans to work for a local design firm with the goal to make a difference in the lives of others through good design.
