A native of South Korea, Dr. Hanna Chung, is an avid pianist of chamber music and ensemble. Previously served on the faculty at Westminster College in Pennsylvania, she was recently appointed as full-time collaborative pianist at Ohio University.

She has collaborated as a member of chamber group, choir, wind ensemble, and orchestra. She has worked with Jake Heggie, Joseph Alessi, Chris Martin, Roger Vignoles, and Warren Jones among other artists. She has participated in Aspen Music Festival, Brevard Music Festival and Bay View Music Festival.

She holds Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano from University of Texas at Austin with teaching assistantship in Collaborative Piano. Her doctoral thesis was on “Application of Visualization in David Biedenbender’s Images (2008)”. She also holds Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from Eastman School of Music.
