Interdisciplinary Arts Minor

The Interdisciplinary Arts minor at Ohio University is designed for students who want to explore a broad range of fine and performing arts. This program provides exposure to diverse artistic disciplines, including visual arts, dance, film, music, and theater, allowing students to develop a well-rounded understanding of artistic expression and cultural impact.

Admission Requirements

There are no additional admission requirements beyond Ohio University’s general admission process. The minor is open to all students, including those changing programs or transferring from another institution.

Curriculum

The Interdisciplinary Arts minor requires a minimum of 20 credit hours, including core courses in arts appreciation and interdisciplinary perspectives. Students also select courses from at least two different art forms, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive artistic education.
