Mason was born and raised in Rocky River Ohio, a suburb outside of Cleveland. He ran track for 5 years and was the team captain in his final year. He started to develop a love for film and film production during his last two years of high school but was always very interested in anything that had to do with a camera. During his senior year, he and his friends were elected to be super fans for local sports events. This meant Mason was charged with the task of making funny skits to entertain and hype up the community for sports and other events.
