Paula is from northeast Ohio, raised in a suburb of Cleveland. Graduating with a BS in Management from Bowling Green State University, she worked in Toledo several years before moving to Waynesville, Ohio, a village in southwestern Ohio.  In 1997, they decided to head to the Appalachian region of Southeast Ohio and reside in Meigs County.

Paula began her Ohio University career in 2013, in the School of Film and IARTS.  She continued in her career working in the Russ College of Engineering & Technology. After several years, she accepted the Dean’s Office Coordinator position and came back home to the College of Fine Arts in early 2022.

When not working, Paula loves to spend time with her family, bake, garden and read. Her favorite role is “Grammy” to two (soon to be three!) granddaughters.
