BELLA VOCE
Bella Voce is a 60-member, non-auditioned treble chorus comprised
of students from across Ohio University. Formerly called Women’s Ensemble, the students selected the name Bella Voce to reflect the inclusive nature of the group, with the intent that all singers will feel valued and empowered. From student conductors and section leaders to an executive board, there are many opportunities for student leadership in the ensemble. Members also shape the artistic decisions of the group, selecting concert themes and repertoire, arranging music, and writing original texts for newly commissioned works.
