About the Ohio University Piano Pedagogy Seminar
The Ohio University Piano Pedagogy Seminar provides piano teachers and students with professional enrichment opportunities through a series of energizing workshops, presentations and performances. This year's program will explore a variety of relevant and stimulating pedagogical topics. Participants will have opportunities to share ideas and engage in dialogue with clinicians and with one another through round-table discussions and informal conversations. The event is held on the Athens campus of Ohio University in the scenic hills of southeast Ohio.
Featured Artist: Kate Liu
Pianist Kate Liu gained international acclaim after winning the Bronze Medal and Best Mazurka Prize at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland. She was also awarded the audience favorite prize voted by the Polish public on the Polish National Radio.
