Hallie Wright
Hallie Wright began her interior design journey 5 years ago as a design student at Sinclair Community College in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio. After completing her Associate’s, she transferred into the Interior Architecture program at Ohio University to further her knowledge of the design techniques and to give herself a more well-rounded education.
Hallie’s thesis, Queermunity, is inspired by her close friends and loved ones. Having witnessed the struggles of the queer youth around her and heard their testimonies firsthand, the Queermunity was designed to be a safe haven for queer youth to access the resources they need to survive, as well as to forge lasting, supportive relationships.
After graduation, Hallie intends to return home to Dayton and dive into the design field there. Later on, she hopes to move out east to Massachusetts and to join a design firm that is as passionate as she is about sustainability and helping others.
