Chelsea Kunzmann Headshot

Hello, my name is Chelsea Kunzmann, and I'm currently stationed in Korea, serving in the Air Force as an engineer with a specialization in geospatial information. Though I hail from Germany originally, my work has taken me to various corners of the globe. Over the past seven years, I've dedicated myself to engineering within the Air Force, focusing on surveys of utilities, facilities, and other installations crucial to base operations.

My role has been multifaceted, involving everything from AutoCAD design to overseeing construction projects. I take pride in my ability to analyze geospatial data and craft intricate maps using ArcPro. My educational background includes an associate degree in construction technology from the Community College of the Air Force, with a pending bachelor's in interior architecture and a minor in business from Ohio University.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I consider myself personable and empathetic, adept at managing both time and projects effectively. Fluent in English, German, and Tagalog, I strive to bridge cultural divides wherever I go. One of my career highlights was serving as an inspector during an oil spill cleanup at a sacred site—a deeply meaningful experience.

Balancing full-time work and full-time studies has been a personal triumph, but I'm not one to rest on my laurels. My aspirations include earning a master's degree in architecture and eventually establishing my own practice. I envision a future where I can contribute to my field as an officer, leveraging my expertise to benefit the Air Force in new ways.

In my leisure time, I indulge in photography, exploring new locales, and immersing myself in literature. Professionally, I've been honored with meritorious awards for my contributions—a testament to my dedication and proficiency.

As I continue to chart my course, I remain committed to growth, both personally and professionally. With each endeavor, I strive to make a positive impact and pursue my dreams with unwavering determination.
