Faculty and staff invited to provide feedback on search for next VP for research and creative activity, dean of the Graduate College

Ohio University faculty and staff are invited to provide feedback on the search for the University’s next vice president for research and creative activity and dean of the Graduate College.

On Friday, Sept. 16, representatives from Storbeck Search will hold a listening session from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in Schoonover 145 to receive input from OHIO faculty and staff on this important position. All faculty and staff are invited to attend and participate in the search process.

Dr. Joe Shields, the former vice president for research and creative activity and dean of the Graduate College, announced in May his intention to leave the University in order to serve as the director of the Large Binocular Telescope Observatory in Arizona.

In June, Dr. David Koonce was named as the interim vice president for research and creative activity and interim dean of the Graduate College. His appointment continues until June 30, 2023.
