Local College Fairs	From Anywhere; Regional	Admissions	Semesterly 2-4 hours	Assist Admissions staff with select college fairs at local high schools. Opportunities exist for this type of involvement anywhere that Ohio University actively recruits students. Contact: alumni@ohio.edu
Geographic Alumni Network Leader	From Anywhere; Varies	Alumni Relations	Ongoing	This individual, known as the Network Representative, plays a crucial role, working with the Alumni Association to plan and execute local events that bring fellow Bobcats together to connect, reminisce, and help Ohio University accomplish its goals. Affinity Alumni Network Leader	From Anywhere; Varies	Alumni Relations	Ongoing	This individual, known as the Network Representative, plays an important role in leading a nationwide network of alumni united by an affinity. Examples of affinity networks include the Ebony Bobcat Network, as well as networks for hockey, WOUB, The Post, and the Marching 110 – there are many others. These leaders work with the Alumni Association to plan and execute events that bring fellow Bobcats together to connect and to help Ohio University accomplish its goals. Bobcat Network "Willing to Help"	From Anywhere; Bobcat Network	Alumni Relations	Infrequent 15-60 minutes	Complete your profile on the Bobcat Network and indicate how you are willing to help support fellow alumni and current students. A badge will be added to your profile so people know they can contact you. Change your settings to indicate how often you're open to connecting with other Bobcats.
Catch Up with a Bobcat	From Anywhere or On Campus; Virtual or Athens, OH	Alumni Relations	Ongoing 1 hour	The Student Alumni Board, an undergraduate student organization, is seeking alumni to return and share their experiences at OHIO and their professional journey with its members. OHIO Discovery Day/OHIO Up Close/Summer Showcase	On Campus; Athens, OH	Admissions	Multiple Offerings 2-8 hours	OHIO Discovery Day/Up Close/Summer Showcase are an in-person visit program designed for prospective and/or admitted first-year students and their families. Contact: alumni@ohio.edu
Future Bobcat Dessert Receptions	On Campus; Athens, OH	Admissions	Spring Semester 2 hours	Future Bobcat Dessert Receptions are held during the spring semester for admitted students and their families who are attending OHIO Up Close programming. Contact: alumni@ohio.edu
OUAA Board of Directors	On Campus; Athens, OH	Alumni Relations	Three in-person, multi-day meetings a year	The Board is composed of devoted Bobcats who foster alumni connections and support OHIO's mission. Members enhance both alumni and student experiences by collaborating on engagement, philanthropy, and professional development initiatives, serving as ambassadors to strengthen the institution. Sponsor an Alumni Award	On Campus; Athens, OH	Alumni Relations	Semesterly 3-4 hours	The Student Alumni Board, an undergraduate student organization, is seeking OHIO alumni to sponsor student awards for its members. These alumni awards aim to foster engagement between alumni and current students by recognizing and celebrating achievements, thereby reinforcing the bond between alumni and the student body. Alumni will review award applications, select winners, and present the awards at the semesterly Inductions ceremony. Contact: alumni@ohio.edu
Learning Community Seminar Class Tour	On Campus; Athens, OH	University College	Annually, 1-2 times between September and the end of November 45 minutes	A class of 20-25 may be interested in exploring your organization in the greater Athens area to dialogue about attributes associated with their major field of study. Experience Day	On Campus or For Your College; Athens, OH	Admissions	Multiple Offerings 2-8 hours	OHIO Experience Days are special visit opportunities hosted in partnership with academic colleges. Prospective students and their families are invited to register for an event that pertains to their academic interest area and get a closer look at the opportunities and experiences they will have as a student at Ohio University. Specialized events	On Campus or For Your College; Athens, OH	Admissions	Semesterly 2-8 hours	At these events, you will have the opportunity to: Understand OHIO’s values and how they align with who you are and want to become. College of Business Society of Alumni & Friends	For Your College; Varies	College of Business	Ongoing	COB SAF began in 1982 and serves as the primary liaison between the COB and its alumni. The SAF pioneers many programs and initiatives, including the annual alumni networking event. Learn More
