Cayuse Testing Instructions

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for volunteering to test the new electronic research administration system being implemented at OU - Cayuse.

Our testing process will be as follows:

Individuals will have access to our test instance of the system to prepare and route proposals for review.  The data you enter can be data from a current or upcoming proposal or just made up.  We’d prefer that you try to break the system so we can be assured of its viability when we go live.

We believe the system is relatively straightforward to use.  We tried to make the questions easy to understand and complete.  The system also allows us to hide sets of questions or sections of questions based on responses to certain questions.  You’ll see those pop up when you select certain answers.

System Navigation: Cayuse has created four short videos (6 minutes each) that demonstrate how to navigate the system.  It’s called Cayuse Academy, and we strongly recommend viewing them.  Once you register, you should select the Sponsored Projects 4.0|Researcher Level 1 course.

In addition, we have created documentation to provide answers to questions you may have as you prepare your proposals.

The Cayuse Sponsored Projects website also has additional guides for your use.
