Ohio University Conference & Event Services exists to provide event solutions for internal campus partners and external clients. A large part of our mission includes providing excellent customer service and a memorable experience for our guests. We need your help to achieve this. Our student staff is often the first impression guests receive when they arrive at OHIO. Join our summer conference team and spend the summer in Athens with us!

All students receive free on-campus housing and a summer meal plan. Students work on average 28 hours per week and are able to take summer session classes. In this role you will gain: leadership skills, enhance your time management, understand customer services policies, develop critical thinking and problem-solving and make new friends!

Summer Conference Assistants will help prepare OHIO’s residence halls for our summer conference guests. This will include building prep and preparing keys. Conference Assistants will also assist with conference guests check-in, attend weekly staff meetings, receive leadership and customer service training and be on duty throughout the summer.
