How can I access the Career Closet?

The Career Closet is run by the Center for Advising, Career, and Experiential Learning, in McGuffey 205.

The Closet is open to all students. Students can take up to one outfit that they need per semester and are not required to return anything. We encourage students to keep the clothes they find for future career needs or professional development opportunities.

To utilize the Career Closet, stop by for a drop-in appointment any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

How can I donate clothes to the Career Closet?

All donations of lightly used, professional clothes should be delivered to the Center for Advising, Career, and Experiential Learning in McGuffey 101.

What clothing donations does the Career Closet need the most?

Due to the rapid turnover in inventory and the consistent need for new sizes and styles, clothing donations are always being accepted!

How can I donate money to the Career Closet?

To make a monetary donation to the Career Closet, visit Ohio University’s giving page and click the “GIVE NOW” button. When asked what you would like to support, check the box for "The fund I want to support isn’t listed above.” Then, enter the fund name "Career Closet Support Fund” in the text box. Complete the rest of the form as usual.
