The Executive MPA program does not include any specializations. Meanwhile, the online MPA program offers three concentrations, including public leadership and management, nonprofit management and state and local government management. Students may also choose to complete the 9-credit, 100% online Project Management Certificate in place of a concentration. PM Certificate courses must be approved by the MPA director and PM program director.

Yes, the online Executive MPA program follows a cohort model. This allows you to build deeper relationships with peers and faculty, expanding your network, support system and career opportunities.
Yes, the online Executive MPA program offers maximum flexibility and is available in a hybrid format. This means you may opt to take some courses on campus if you wish, and others online. The online MPA is offered completely online.
The Executive MPA program has a residency component. Throughout the program, face-to-face class meetings are held during residencies 20 Saturdays each year at Ohio University’s Dublin Campus, bringing all cohort members and faculty together in one location for collaboration.
