  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Work Experience
  • At least three years of professional work experience
  • Case-by-case exceptions may be made if an applicant is actively working in a professional capacity and has fewer than three years
Additional Requirements
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement (2 - 4 pages) discussing your career goals, how the master’s degree will help you achieve those goals, areas or competencies that you expect the program will help you strengthen and what you plan to contribute to the learning community
  • Current resume detailing professional experience

International Students

Generally, students that reside outside of the United States are not eligible to enroll in an OHIO Online program. Additionally, Ohio University is unable to provide immigration support to international students regardless of where they reside. Transfer Credit

The online Executive Master of Public Administration program allows students to apply up to nine transfer credits toward completion of the degree.
