Complete Pre-enrollment Discipline and Criminal History Review Form

This quick, simple form is required for all admitted students as part of our commitment to providing the safest possible learning environment at Ohio University. The Required Pre-enrollment Discipline and Criminal History Review form is available in your MyOHIO Student Center and should be completed immediately. Disclosing a formal disciplinary action, charge or conviction does not automatically disqualify you from enrollment, but your disclosures will be reviewed. Based on your answers, we may contact you to request further information. The form must be completed, reviewed and cleared for enrollment before you can register for classes.

Register for Courses

Please note: You may enroll in any OHIO course for which you meet the requisites, including those available to students at the Athens and regional campuses. However, you will pay the Athens campus or regional campus tuition for these courses, not the eCampus tuition rate. You will not be eligible for a tuition appeal if you accidentally register for courses that are listed on the regular course offerings page.

Familiarize Yourself With OHIO's Online Learning Platforms

As an online student you will access your courses through Ohio University's web-based learning management system. Currently, OHIO is in the process of migrating content from Blackboard to Canvas, and you may have classes in both systems during the transition. Both platforms enable instructors to provide students with syllabi, course materials, discussion boards, virtual chat, online quizzes, an academic resource center and more.  You will not be able to access Blackboard or Canvas until you are enrolled in an active course. The professor might not make the course active until the first day of class.

You can find more information about the migration timeline on the Canvas Learning Management System Implementation page.  In the meantime, the resources below can help you navigate both platforms.
