Current Use
The Dr. Steve and Kathy Carin Strength and Conditioning Center was dedicated on November 12, 1999. It is located at the southwest corner of Peden Stadium, coordinates F-7 and #105 on the campus map. The 10,000 square foot building is used by Ohio athletes to train more fully for their sports. The center allows for strength training, and speed and agility training. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, such as platform areas, inclines, benches, squat bench stands, power backs, chinning bars, warm-up area, stretching and tumbling area, plyometrics, and medicine ball
History
Steven and Kathy Carin
The Dr. Steve and Kathy Carin Strength and Conditioning Center is named in honor of Dr. Steven and Kathy Carin. Dr Carin has been a faculty member of the College of Osteopathic Medicine since 1980. Dr. Carin has been a dedicated, loyal team physician since 1983. He also serves the university as a member of the Foundation Board of Trustees and the Athletics Major Gifts Committee.
The Carin's continued generosity and support of Ohio Athletics brings prestige to the University and helps carry forward the strong tradition of academic and athletic excellence at Ohio.
