Executive Board
The Executive Board's responsibilities include: serving as the primary intermediary between the MSA faculty and students, planning program initiatives, and overseeing the daily operation of the program. Additionally, the Executive Board supervises all other committees and provides assistance when necessary. Everything from O'Malley Cup to Symposium requires significant planning and preparation, and it is the duty of the Exec Board to ensure that these events are executed properly.

Diversity & Inclusion Council
Many organizations and individuals are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of having a diverse organization and a diverse workforce. For those who are not, diversity leads to better work environments, fresh ideas, and new ways of looking at an old problem. By focusing on inclusion, we can cultivate a diverse culture in an organization where differences are acknowledged and valued. This is where the Diversity Council for the Department of Sports Administration comes in.
The Diversity Council works with the Diversity Council Alumni Board to bring awareness about the Ohio University brand to underrepresented groups and individuals in order to build upon the diversity within the program. Diversity helps productivity; it helps creativity, and builds an inclusive culture that will attract excellent candidates. The Diversity Council works to fulfill and maintain the Department of Sports Administration’s diversity initiatives.

Women in Sports
In 2013, Madelyn Robinson (MBA/MSA '13) and Libby Ebelhar (MBA/MSA '13) co-founded Women in Sports (WIS) to enhance the development and growth of the next generation of female sports leaders. The members of WIS have the opportunity to grow professionally through workshops, networking, and building community with other members. Through the resources and programming provided by WIS, female students pursuing a career in sports are better prepared to successfully enter and thrive in the industry.
The 2019-20 academic year marks the 7th anniversary of WIS at Ohio University. To celebrate, the WIS committee will feature interviews, advice from female alumni, and a vast portfolio of trainings. We want to share our experiences, learn from others, and equip each other with skills to be prepared to work in sport.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee helps execute sponsorship activations online and around campus to help OHIO Sports Ad students' initiatives throughout the year. These initiatives include: the annual t-shirt sale fundraisers, Race for a Reason, Symposium, and other special events.

Sponsorship Committee
Through strategic partnerships with local businesses, the Sponsorship Committee is charged with generating revenue to offset the costs of initiatives that are undertaken by the OHIO Sports Ad students.
These initiatives include: the annual Football and Men’s Basketball t-shirt sale fundraisers, the All-4-One loyalty card, Race for a Reason, Symposium, and other special events.
