Scout Hall is a doctoral intern currently pursuing her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) degree at Adler University. Scout earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. Before joining Counseling and Psychological Services, Scout gained extensive experience through various practicum placements in diverse settings. For the past two years, she has provided individual therapy in two group private practices and conducted neuropsychological assessments with clients. Her previous roles include offering psychological assessment services to adolescents in a school setting and doing comprehensive evaluations for individuals across the lifespan at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Scout’s therapeutic approach is highly integrative, drawing on relational, attachment-based, humanistic/existential, solutions-focused, 3rd wave CBT, and Prolonged Exposure modalities. She uses an active and collaborative therapeutic process, utilizing behavioral experiments to equip individuals with practical skills while also fostering insight and personal growth. Areas of interest encompass emerging adults, identity development, life transitions, family of origin issues, ADHD and executive functioning concerns, and OCD. Outside of her professional life, Scout enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her dog, listening to music, watching true crime, and exploring new restaurants.
