Maria Dodaro
Maria is a senior in the Engineering Technology and Management program at the Russ College of Engineering and Technology. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but fell in love with the combination of Ohio University’s beautiful campus and their dedication to provide students with a true opportunity to academic excellence and to a successful, victorious and impactful career in engineering.
In addition to serving as an Engineering Ambassador of the Russ College while earning her bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology and Management, she is minoring in business and acquiring two certificates: lean six sigma and project management. She is also a passionate member of the Society of Women in Engineering, where female engineers on campus connect and support one another in their academic and professional endeavors.
Maria interned with CNH Industrial over the summer of 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. CNH Industrial is a leading, international, company in the upcoming industry of precision farming and technology. She served as a software engineering intern at CNH Industrial, where she was dedicated to building both the front end and the back end of an operations portal to manage farming and construction vehicles. She is now continuing my engineering career at CNH Industrial as she is currently working as a part time co-op while simultaneously completing her senior year of school.
Over the summer of 2021, Maria interned with Crown Castle International, a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. During her summer at Crown Castle, Maria served as an Operations Intern and competed in a companywide case study competition. Judged by Crown Castle executives, her team was chosen as 2nd place in a competition of 50+ teams.
In her free time, she loves spending quality time with family and friends, as well as spending time outdoors.
